The ABS Octopus has unique 120° angle between the hose and mouthpiece, so it works in right- or left-hand positions without kinks in the hose and works both ways up so you can't get it wrong! 

Normal second stage designs must go into the divers mouth the correct way up, and in an emergency this is one extra thing to think about.

It's also much smaller and low profile so it's out of the way!
