Rules changing in CRA2 area from 1 July 2020
Measure the tail width in a straight line between the tips of the two large (primary) spines on the second segment of the tail. If you are unsure of the sex, use the 60mm measurement.
Measure the tail length along the underside in a straight line from the rear of the calcified bar on the first segment to the tip of the middle fan of the tail. Must have a tail length of at least 216mm (male and female).
There are rules and protections for gathering rock lobster/crayfish that cover: protected types, gathering methods, pot construction and use.
From Te Arai Point, Auckland to Cape Runaway telson clipping is required for all recreationally harvested spiny rock lobsters. The last third of the telson (central part of the tail fan) must be cut off so that it is noticeably shorter than the other sections of the tail fan. This must be done to all legal spiny rock lobsters as soon as they are taken.

Extremely durable and flexible high pressure hose for Suunto Pressure Gauges (SM-36) and Suunto Combo Consoles and any other brand SPG. HP Swivel not included.
The Miflex Carbon HD Hose is a lightweight braided hose to connect your 1st and SPG made from a tougher material than before. Miflex hoses have a higher burst pressure than traditional rubber hoses, are much lighter and more flexible than rubber hoses. Miflex hoses also have a tighter braid compared to other braided hoses which makes them more resistant to abrasion and kink resistant. All you need in-between is an HP Swivel that will either come with your SPG or can be bought separately.
Trustworthy
The external nylon safety braiding is designed to resist the snags and abrasions that divers can often encounter. The patent-pending XTREME double braiding also resists UV rays out of the water, thus extending the lifespan of the hose.
Unlike traditional hoses, the XTREME nylon safety braiding is not simply pushed over the hose fittings. Instead the braiding is tightly bound and fixed to the hose core by stainless steel or brass sleeves.
Carbon HD
This range of high pressure hoses are tougher and more flexible than traditional rubber hoses aimed at the frequent diver in harsh environments to resist bumps and scratches on wrecks and rocks. Each hose has a Test Burst Pressure of > 2000 Bar (EN250 requirement >1250 Bar) and a pull-out test of > 250kg (EN250 requirement >100Kg) so they meet and exceed the current EN250 requirements.
A swivel pin (a small metal tube with an o-ring at either end) is required between this hose and a gauge in order to correctly seal. If you are unable to reuse the pin from an existing hose a replacement will be required
